As the Christmas season shifts into high gear, I’m not quite ready to soak myself in egg nog and drape myself in tinsel, but party worthy sequins for the day are a great way to ease into the season. The secret to make this look work is to tame it with something casual.
IRO sequin shirt(similar here)/COH jeans/vintage Chanel purse
Isabel Marant Etoile blazer
This sparkly top pairs perfectly with these ripped boyfriend jeans to cut the girly vibe. This blouse would also work nicely with the ripped jeans and adds just a hint more drama with the v neck and more fitted style. If you still feel like you need to tone down the sparkle you can throw a blazer over your shoulders, add a festive red handbag and you are out the door with a day-to-night outfit for the holidays.
Zara sequin sweater
This sequin sweater would be a nice alternative paired with high waisted wider legged jeans. I’d add a strappy sandal to give it a little extra polish (I have these sandals and they are an incredible style value) or these red lovelies. One of my favorite color combinations of all time is red and pink. What an unexpected festive daytime outfit that will be a standout from all the green and red.
black tassel skirt
This skirt is perfect for a nighttime soiree but during the day it would pair well with a sweatshirt and booties.
wide leg sequin pants
I would style these wide leg pants like above with a little white tee, this fur trimmed Moto jacket and finish it with a kitten heel sandal.

We need help!
I would Love to see a post where we can ask questions and you’d help us style something we have in our closet.
I have this cool retro pink leather/pleather blazer/jacket and pencil skirt that my mom had and I’m not sure how to wear it or if it’s even a go. What do you think about that- Ask Laura! Or What would Laura wear—-#WWLW.
