When you’re rushed to get out of the house in the morning and don’t have time to put an outfit together there are a few items every woman should have in her arsenal to deploy at a moments notice. These heavy hitters will get you out of the door in minutes feeling confident and looking effortless with modern simplicity. These items also go a long way in simplifying your packing process for any trip. These should be the pieces you always pack because they go with everything and can be worn day or night depending on your accessories.
First up is the black blouse. If you could have only one in your closet, it should be a silk button down. After this, you can add a few others that have some fun details. Here are some of my favorites.
This is the blouse that always goes in the suitcase and can be worn with high waisted shorts and sandals for a daytime look or black leather pants and heels for the evening. Theory can run small in the shoulders so I always order one size up (medium) but in this blouse I wanted it to hang more loosely in the shoulders and body for a more laid back look so I ordered a large (it fits a lot like the pic above).
